About Me

Shane is from Kokomo, Indiana. He grew up the son of a pipe-fitter and homemaker. He began playing the piano and keyboards at the age of 12. A self-taught musician, Shane honed his skills in churches and also bands throughout the late 80’s and 90’s. His songwriting brought him to discover the guitar in 93’ and since then, he has juggled between solo piano music and country, blues, rock, and folk singing and songwriting. Influences range from classical to rock. Yanni to Springsteen. This vast area of genre has made him well respected and sought after for his array of musical abilities. He has become a trusted and dependable session player in Nashville as well as a successful songwriter. He released " Moments In Time " in 2003. A collection of Shane’s piano compositions. After taking time away from music to help raise his children, Shane returned to his music in 2005 and moved to Music City in 2007. He has moved back to his roots and his children. Refusing to sellout to the corporate and commercial scene, he and his new wife Brandi are working on an album under their own label, Freedomland Records in 2009.
