About Me

I believe there is only one way to overcome your fears, to face them head on, to push through them. A life limited by fear is a life not worth living.
I believe the only way to learn what you are capable of is to attempt what you always assumed impossible. When we always expect the worst, there is no sweeter feeling than being wrong.
I believe most people never achieve their true potential simply because they are afraid of what might happen if they tried. We miss every shot we don't take. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I believe desire and fear are two sides of the same coin. To desire one thing is to fear it's opposite. The way of peace is to split that coin, to live not in lust or fear, but in a state of passionate gratitude and acceptance.
I believe that in reality, outside our tiny dramas and pointless worries, everything is completely alright. In this life, it is only our attachments, our fears, and our resistance which make it seem otherwise.
I believe that work IS play. The only reason we hate working is we feel we must, and however necessary we think an action is, that is the degree to which we hate it.
I believe that knowledge is power. There is no such thing as useless information, because every piece of the puzzle changes how we see the big picture.
I believe the great aim of life is not knowledge, but action. We are each put here to make the world a better place for our passing, in whatever fashion we are best suited to.
I believe we don't see people as they are, but as we are. We cannot hate or love anything in another without first hating or loving the same qualities in ourselves.
I believe that life is difficult regardless of who you are or your situation. When the shit hits the fan, you have a choice; to be a victim, or to be a volunteer. I choose to be a volunteer.
I'm the kind of guy who likes to grab life with both hands, slam it up against the wall, and kiss it so hard I can taste blood. I live every moment with absolute passion, I always give a hundred and ten percent.
I believe you get one life. Just one. That's it, and that's all, so you had damn well better make it count for something! If there's anything you wanted to do before you leave, you better do it now, because we don't know when we're leaving, but we sure as hell aren't coming back.
I believe that love, forgiveness and understanding are the only things left to save our planet, our people, and ourselves. We are all in this together. Together we survive, or together we fall. There is no third choice.
About me? I don't even know what that means.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet other musicians and artists in my area, regardless of musical style or other affiliation. I'm new to the area, so any new contact is good in my book. I'd also like to meet anyone loosely affiliated with or interested in the local entertainment business; producers, performers, technicians, event organizers, fans, and millionaires willing to grant me money.

Beyond that, I am always open to meeting anyone with a positive attitude and clear personal objectives. I like people who overcome obstacles, push boundaries, expand comfort zones, and break with traditions. I like people who aren't afraid to build their castles in the clouds, and then use their hands to put foundations under them.

My Blog

The room reflects the mind, or is that backwards?

I'm feeling really sick right now. Not sure if it's some new smell in the house, or if I'm noticing the new smells because I feel sick. Still feel tore up from my new exercise wheel. I can barely use ...

Something I've been wondering

Would aliens have a sense of humor? Even if they had jokes, would we get them? We humans don't seem to have a very clear idea of why WE find things funny. We know what's funny, but we can never quite ...

Update on life...

I got a job at burgerville! I'm gonna be flipping patties! Not bad for a guy who got a degree in Electronic Technology. Kids, that's what a two year college degree gets you: a crummy job flipping burg...

The sheer crushing power of choices

As some of you may know, I recently upgraded my computer so that I can now record music in my own home. Oh, my fucking God! Now I realize how recording one hour long album can take an artist five year...

Deja Vu... again.

Money, here one day gone the next. Like water, when you're swimming it seems so trivial, then you're in the desert, and a half gallon means more than the world.First I am so swamped and overwhelmed by...

Update on life

I've been laid off at work. No big surprise. The place has been on the brink of extinction for quite some time. I'm amazed they are still open at all. The business owes money in every direction, which...

Autobiography

I was born in Texas in 1982, to military father and a hippie mom. They split when I was two, and I spent the rest of my childhood baouncing back and forth between them, always to a different military ...
