Dj Don Lou or Dj Lou as others might know me grew up with a love for all kinds of music. As a kid when I saw the dj battle in the movie "Juice" I wanted to get My hands on a pair of turntables. When I was 15 I snuck into my boys uncles crib and started to mess around with his 1200's. Ever since then, I had been spinning hip hop.
During High school, I was making mixtapes from the influences of Tony Touch and Dj Camilo. And had spun at parties during and shortly after high school. A little after 9/11/01, I sold my turntables because the money situation was hard. I had spun here and there, but didn't have my own gear....
On Christmas Eve 2007, I went out and bought some new gear, the Pioneer Pro Dj equipment...due to not losing and expanding my skills I started doing private parties and gigs at clubs such as Studio A, Club Space, and Mansion, and was even a finalist out of 600 entries in all of South Florida to enter the Ultra Music Fest Dj Spinoff. I've gotten love from Oscar G (an amazing Dj) and Roger Sanchez (A Legend) and other dj's in the music industry...join me in my journey and check out my Youtube videos that I post up weekly right here...thanks for the love
