RONNIE "THE CHIEF" SELLERS - Recently retired as chief deputy of the Rapides Sheriff's Department, he is now the chief of Blue Eyed Soul Express. He really lays down the law on his baritone sax, as he provides the bottom for the BESE horns. He has played professionally on and off since the 1960's, including several years with The Capri's. Ronnie also plays bari sax for another local powerhouse band, The Harmon Drew Super Group. A true team player, Ronnie is always ready to play and book gigs...and doesn't mind traveling to get to a show! Home base...Tioga, Louisiana where he is CEO of Delta Blues, LLC.
DAVE "SHOOTER" DUPLISSEY - Inducted TWICE into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, Dave is recognized as the premier horn section leader of the South. Earlier in his career he traveled throughout France with his father's band (1961-64). During the Vietnam era Shooter served his country in the US Army. Having no choice whatsoever where he was to be sent, he found himself stationed in Alaska. Here he served as a volunteer in the US Army band, and he also toured with the 3rd Army Stage Band, prior to being sent to Alaska. Here he met his good friend, Don Linkoff, who played with Mitch Rider and the Detroit Wheels. His Alaska resume' became even more impressive when he landed a job as horn section leader with Etta James in 1969. During the last 15 years of John Fred's life, Dave worked for the John Fred and the Playboy Band opening shows with several instrumentals. Currently, Dave is President of Saxophobia Records and Talent. He is retired after working for 20 years as a television advertising producer for an Alexandria station. Shooter also blows and does the horn arrangements for The Harmon Drew Super Group, based in the Shreveport area, and is band leader of Uptown Jazz out of Alexandria. When not playing his sax, you can find him on some body of water as Dave is an advid fisherman.
BILLY J. MORRIS - Inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 1999, for his songs "For Your Love" and "Love Has Made You Beautiful", Billy is the featured singer (and occasional drummer) in Blue Eyed Soul Express. His powerful soul filled renditions will keep you wanting for more as he belts out songs that he was born to sing. Swamp pop selections can be sung in either English or Cajun, as he is originally from Marksville, LA. Recently married, he and his wife Julie reside in Bossier City. Billy has three other bands that he is currently associated with in the Shreveport area: The Premiers featuring Billy J.; The Harmon Drew Super Group; and The Red River Playboys. Whether singing in English or Cajun, his unique vocal range and style are most sought after and have only improved with age and experience. He'll tell you quick, with THAT smile he always wears, "I'm not a singer....I'm a SONG STYLIST!!!"

PHILLIP "FLIPP DADDY" WELCH - Phillip first picked up a pair of drum sticks at 7 years of age. Completely self-taught, he watched his fellow drummers, instructional videos, and "live" performances of other drummers to give his chops the "Flipp Daddy" touch! He learned to play a pretty mean shuffle from the Cajun Shuffle King, old Billy J. himself! Phillip's band credits include the Mike McKenzie Band; Clayton Mayza; Young Guns; Hands On; Doug Duffy; Nighthawk; Kats Under Cover; Toby Trayler and Green Eyed Soul, and numerous others that this space does not have the room for! He is also a very sought after recording session musician with a very lengthy discography...thus, the name "The Session Master". Born and raised in the West Monroe area, he still calls it home!

KEN CARDINO - Ken grew up playing blues and rock guitar in various garage bands. He enjoyed a long stint on the famous Bossier Strip playing with the classic rock combo, "My Generation". A Natchitoches native, Ken now resides in Shreveport, Louisiana with his wife Pat and daughter, Celeste. "KC" is the second strong vocalist in the band. He also plays guitar and sings for The Harmon Drew Super Group. Friendly and well loved by his fan base, Kenny consistently rates in the top 5 of all Shreveport-Bossier musicians in SB Magazine's poll of it's readership.

KELLY GRAVES - At the age of six, Kelly's dad urged him to watch The Lawrence Welk Show which inspired an appreciation for professional showmanship. He first picked up a trumpet in elementary band and has yet to put it down! His impressive horn sound has only gotten better throughout the years. Kelly has played with The Impact Band, Bebe and Cece Winans, The Temptations and The Louisiana Hayride Band. He also has worked with contemporary acts Phil Driscoll and Craig Bradshaw. He is also currently associated with another powerhouse horn band, The Harmon Drew Super Group, from the Shreveport area. Kelly's fat horn sound rounds out The Blue Eyed Soul Express's dynamic horn section.....a sound that has reached the ultimate in excellence.

HENRY REGGANS - Born and raised in Leesville, Louisiana Henry cannot remember when music was not a major part of his life. Realizing that his talent was a special gift from God, he went on to study music at Grambling State University. As much as Henry was enjoying his college career, opportunity came knocking...and Henry could not pass up the chance to play with The Emotions! After he left their company, Henry played with "Little" Johnnie Taylor and Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. He has opened for Jerry Lee Lewis; Gladys Knight and the Pips; and the Edgar Winter Band. Along local levels, Henry is a member of The Harmon Drew Super Group, another fabulous horn band. He also played keyboards and sang for Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs. Henry and his wife Amanda have four children. When he is not playing keyboards for The Blue Eyed Soul Express (and singing), you can find him entertaining the congregation of his church, Bethel Baptist Church, in Many, Louisiana.
CHARLEY MABOU - Charley brings to the Blue Eyed Soul Express 35 years of experience as a bassist. He cut his teeth on the sounds of '60's and 70's bands, and gives most of the credit of learning chord changes to his friends Paul and John....as in THE BEATLES! Charley has a vast knowledge of genre varieties ranging from country, pop, soul, funk, and jazz. During the 90's, he lived in "Sin City", playing on the Las Vegas Strip. Charley has backed quite a few big names such as Percy Sledge, George Strait, Johnny Lee, John Wesley Ryles, Aaron Neville and Charley Daniels. Locally, he has played with GG Shin and The Hot Damn Band,The Boogie Kings and Jon Smith (Toto's Sax player) at GG's Club in Alexandria. Charley is a true team player and gives 110% at every BESE performance. Besides giving Blue Eyed Soul Express it's bottom, he sings back-up vocals. Charley is one of the most sought after bass players in Louisiana!
