to start off: i'm NOT on here for a "who has the most friends?" pissing contest! if ya wanna add me as a friend, cool. just have a reason for it, like a similar interest or genuinely wanting to get to know me; sending an email saying "hey, we both like 'x'!" helps too. having a bot that looks for people who you haven't "friended" yet is not a reason.on the relationship side, guys who aren't stereotypically "gay." most of my friends will describe me as just a guy, who needs to meet someone who's just a guy. i'm not into the "gay scene," and really don't fall into a lot of the stereotypes.professionally, i'd like to meet people who are in the industry and can give me advice for breaking in. also, if someone's looking for a writer, be it along the lines of reviews or other stuff, that's cool too.

i'm addicted to "project runway", and the other shows i try to watch regularily are "the simpsons", "desperate housewives", and "scrubs". i'm still pissed that "dead like me" and "arrested development" got cancelled, can watch reruns of "absolutely fabolous" and "invader zim" at any time, believe that "the facts of life" was the greatest 80's sitcom, and want "the state" to come out on dvd, dammit! a lot of times i'll have the tv on while i'm doing a sudoku or something, but not necessarily watching it. i am an anime dork, too, and have a lot on dvd (prefer sub to dub).
my favorite authors are clive barker, neil gaiman, and amy tan. the last really good book i read was "reading lolita in tehran" by azar nafisi. i still read comic books, everything from mainstream superheroes to indie stuff. "sandman" is quite possibly the greatest comic series every, and "pride of baghdad" by briank k. vauguah is an amazing piece of graphic literature. and i'm sure to read "opus" and "adam" every sunday in the funnies.
