Lullaby

What do u wanna know? I been singing longer than i can remember. Originally Im rooted in a church background. Born to christian parents on January 27th 1986. (Yep! i got luv 4 u if u were born in the 80's) The sounds of the drums and the organ bring back a sense of home. However I had an older brother who showed me other types of music while I was growing up. He was a Dj and in my home i was use to hearing heavy base lines and the man dem coming round to do what they do! Music was the back bone of my household. so singing was a way of communicating my passions. But life started 2 kick in and thats when music became my obvious route of escape and TrippleM became my new family. They say the best names that stick are the ones that are given to you. That is definitely the case 4 me. Big J & Blizze started callin me lullaby years ago, I wasnt too hot on it at first, so i gotta give credit where its due. (Thanks guys) Im a songwriter and some of my material comes 4rm my life experiences, the rest is 4rm observation. I can remember being 6 years old performing to passers by on the street that i grew up on with my main partner in crime (Maytrix) Writing songs and recording them. Who remembers the tdk and selotape flex??????? When we wernt singing and dancing we were hustling a change, so we could get sweets 4rm the sweet shop or getting up to some sought of mischeif. But ill leave it there!! Gettin older and moving into my teenage years the dynamics of things started to change. Performing was a must and i did at any oppertunity from the back of the bus on the way home from school to stratford town hall, School concerts, youth clubs. you name it i was involved. I met up with two girls and we decided to become a group in 2002 after attending the summer university where we were mentored by The Heartless Crew (HLC) we called ourselves Auspicious which means showing signs of success. Eventually that turned sour, but were still friends! But i Knew my story was far from over. I was starting to create a name 4 myself I was entering competitions and won a Gospel award the same Year. Still performing i started to gain experience in the studio and started to work harder on my skill. I finished school and went onto city and islington college after a year i dropped out but came into affiliation with a group of people under the real level movement. After a while i lost my drive and felt maybe signing wasnt meant to b 4 me, BUT I WAS WRONG!!LULLABY xx
