The Motivs

The Motivs are a punk influenced rock and roll three piece from Rochdale, Nr. Manchester in the North West of England. They are quickly gaining a reputation as a great live act due to their high energy performances and catchy riffs. The back end of 2009 saw them headlining Manchester's Academy 3 venue to great acclaim and also playing gigs at venues like Moho Live where they supported Everything Everything who are tipped for big things this year. The band have started 2010 by recording their self titled 6 track demo ep at SpiderStudio. Having recorded mixed and mastered it in just three days with Paul from the studio at the helm, they will be laying it on the masses in early February this year though a selection of the tracks from the ep can be heard right now on this page. They are also currently booking gigs for 2010 and writing and rehearsing new material.
