Lucy was Driving plays music that combines powerful melodies and raw energy of rock into a mixture that one sarcastic individual once described as "science-rock for teenagers". The band is no stranger to sarcasm but knows something about science as well: Otso Koskelo, the lead singer of Lucy was Driving, is filling his free time by working on a PhD-thesis in physics. This creates a strong background for the bands overall attitude: "Think for yourself, open your eyes and see the world we live in."Much like the same way as scientists search for the truth, in their lyrics Lucy was Driving tries to find some reason in this chaotic and ever-changing world we live in. The band isn't here to tell you how to live your life but merely to observe - from the small scale of an individual up to the big questions of mankind.On-stage Lucy was Driving is an energetic and aggressive act - yet irresistibly reckless and goofy. The guys are as charming as they are dangerous and aren't afraid to speak their mind when necessary. But instead of shutting people out, they're inviting everyone to join in.
