About Me

For those of you who don't know me yet... I'm Joy, mostly known as Teacher Joy. I'm a preschool teacher (it was my 3rd year in June), but I've been working with kids of various ages for 9 years now. Geez, I'm getting old! Haha! My Dragonflies (they're my kids in class) are the loves of my life. They're one of the reasons why I have a smile on my face everyday inspite of all the trials that I'm encountering in life. They're amazing... although they can get pretty naughty at times... just like me. Hehe! Whew, 2007 is going by so fast! Although the year didn't start well for me, I'm still looking forward to enjoying the rest of it. As I've promised myself, Ive been traveling a lot. I've been going to SoCal, went on a cruise to Mexico, and I just got back from my European Tour. I went to UK, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and France. It was a blast! Aaaahhh!!! I'm currently planning a relaxing getaway to Mexico. I'm so excited! I'm also singing again with my original vocal ensemble, KORUSLEINE, and we're preparing for a benefit concert in December. Being an advocate for Early Childhood Education is also keeping me on my toes. It's a tough job (especially when you have to talk in front of legislators... yaiks!), but having a voice and making a difference in this field for both the teachers and the children are some of my great accomplishments in life. So, this is me now... busy (like always), single, dating, traveling, enjoying my independence, and living life to the fullest. I don't have time for liars, cheaters, users, and people who are just going to waste my time. Talk to the hand! LOL! By the way, KARMA IS A BITCH! That came out of the blue... hahaha! Did I mention that I want to get a dragonfly tattoo? I'm happy happy joy joy again!!!..
