I am looking for bands that can play live specifically for GONEIf you fit this description please contact me so I can check out your performances.Your band must have a cd, distribution and be competent playing in a live environment. So many of you are not and that is why you will fail. It is not enough to have a well produced cd. You have to be able to sell it to the masses. I require live footage at a gig for your band to be eligible for consideration and those of you who know me I am very hard to please as I used to be the benchmark for live entertainment.I have been in some great bands, toured with the best bands as support act in the late 80's and had a record deal with WEA before the were bought out and all their artists were dumped for overseas product.(THANKS LABOUR GOVERNMENT).This show will be a great opportunity to have your music played live to potentially as many people as HEY HEY ITS SATURDAY.Your gig dates will be posted and promoted and you may be signed to a booking agent but that part depends entirely on how you perform:example:Mammal-style performance equals booking agent. Rincon/Doramah-style singing and playing and song quality equals definite spot on show doing entire soundtrack for show.I do not want any death metal bands. That sound is over. Listen to IN FLAMES NEW ALBUM. They are heading in a different direction. Good on them for doing something different.(Unless you are tight as a drum, are already gigging and have a good profile)Keep looking for updates on this page and get practicing. All American and European bands just send me the links to your myspace pages and we will contact you independently. Any producers overseas with product that would fit the bill for the Recorded part of the show (music round-up)please send us our links as well and we will contact you.Snow tv kiks off in 3 months and Gone does in october.Snow tv are looking for recorded music.Use www.myspace.com/rinconband as a guide to the genre. Also Venture. Great band. Silver needle for that pop-punk. Guys and gals, anything that is left of commercial but still accessible.
