Influences: Scars n Wounds The Movement............. ..Everything around us is an influence, sumtimes we dont rhyme jus tellling a story from a week ago over a beat , or clearing our minds it may seem as if we blogging. you cant tell me the things around u dont influence you, our enviorment molded our minds but we as individuals shaped it.Scars And Wounds That which doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger. You should live your life by those words. We live in a world where struggling has become the norm. The trials and tribulations we’ve faced have made us who we are today. We don’t complain about it. We take the struggle and turn it into music. Scars and Wounds consists of emcees and singers primarily from New York and Chicago. The harsh winds of the Windy City and the rough Streets of Harlem World were the breeding ground for these next generations of artists. They chose the name Scars and Wounds because of what it means when you hear it. You’ve made it through the battles, and are still fighting the war. No man comes out untouched, but they took what they’d been through and made it a part of them. Versatility we deliver no matter the style of music may it be ,underground/gangster/street mentality/backpack/positive vibe, pop or R&B, we bring it, conscious of music; full of multi-syllable rhyme scheme with punchlines accommodated with a catchy hook. We were all on that new Hip Hop to the ear. What we love about Hip-Hop so much. We feed off each other it’s a no man left behind relationship that drives the chemistry of our team.
