NOW BACK AND STRONGER THAN EVER... AGAIN. After yet another hiatus, american metal band Ruins of Contention returns from extended vacationing (this time due to injuries) with only one thing left on their agenda: melt your face.
Originally known as Alla Morte, the band began with three men with only one thing in common: Metal. Scott decided to take his ability to shred a guitar until there was nothing left and combine it with Tyler's accidentally discovered gift from the gods, the ability to scream longer and louder than anyone else. The two banded together with Brandon to embark on a quest to create music that could skin a man faster than a Wookie armed with "Bowcaster." Unfortunately the noise that ensued was only a cornucopia of sound unidentifiable as music to the human ear. Scott, Tyler, and Brandon quickly decided that the music was missing one of metal’s most fundamental elements: Balls. The trio knew that there was only one man suitable for taming the beast, and so they contacted Tobin, who brought along with him more balls than were imaginable. In fact, initially the band feared that Tobin had brought too much balls, until Tobin showed them the error of their ways and reminded them that no such thing as "too much balls" exists. Around this point in time, Brandon had a vision, a vision of shredding, harmony, and sweet succulent riffing, such that could not be provided by the drums, and so a guitar was placed in his hands and a legend was born. Now it was apparent that the band would require a drummer of awesome magnitude to continue, and in a time when metal drummers were sparse, one arose to the challenge. Only a machine could rival the skills of Xach and he was immediately abducted by the band.
Alas, the band was complete! The final panel of the [metaphorical] rubik's cube was aligned and a new chapter of history began. As the metal coursed through the veins of each man, the extensive process of songwriting commenced. This process produced songs of such great aural brutality which the band immediately unleashed on the public, one fan claiming, “it was like my ears were just gangbanged.†Shows have become routine for the band, who seek to spread their music to anyone daring [or polite] enough to listen. They are constantly refining their sound and continuing down the perilous path of brutality. A three song demo was recently recorded and IS NOW AVAILABLE for all to hear, so FACE THE METAL.
