I'm just looking for friends, new and old. Generally, people like me who don't carry around a negative attitude or think they're the only person alive in the world. That gets old and annoying...very quickly. Basically, I love life and life has not always been easy, but I'm here, right? I like people who love life, too. I know that a lot of people are on here with the silent hope of meeting the love of their life. Yeah...not me. As much as I love to date, I am not trying to be anyone's girlfriend!There's typos in this...but I like it, anyway! On another level, I admire so many different people like Mother Theresa, Issabelle D'Este, my mom's the shiz (like all the women in my family), da Vinci, Nelson Mandela, Winnie Mandela, Henry Kissinger, Dick Cheney, (I'm just curious as to why he kept voting AGAINST the release of Nelson Mandela and the freedom of blacks in South Africa-Economic sanctions, what? Or why he would think the whole subject is trivial in itself...Juuust wondering) the thinkers of the East who cultivated the thinkers of the West. Lots-o-Brilliant People! It's annoying when people think that you're unpatriotic because youre aware of what's going on in the country, as if this country was created through blind following.

I live for music. I love it all. My love of dance is an extension for my love of music.
The first 10 or 15 songs on my playlist are usually a musical of my life/emotions. Currently my favorite song is "I'm in Love with a Girl." I'm not in love with a girl, nor is anyone in love with me. Except for Holly. And I love her, too. BFF, yo! Yeah, I just took it back to the 5th grade.

LOTR,Shawshank Redemption, Amelie, Shallow Hal, The Color Purple, Boondock Saints, Diary of A Mad Black Woman, Kate and Leopald, Gangs of New York, The Pursuit of Happiness, Sweet Home Alabama, Phantom of the Opera-my God that was good!! The Little Mermaid, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Pride and Prejudice was just beautiful. Anything Adam Sandler or Jim Carey, Vaughn, Ferell, Wilson bros, you know, Old School, Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, The Invisible, Bubble Boy, BAPS, Sleepless in Seattle, The Notebook, Roots, Queen, Saving Silverman, The Ring 1/2, I mostly like comedies and scary movies.
Ahhh, In time, I want to love like this....
Television:
Hmm..dont watch much.I like Will and Grace and GIRLFRIENDS-oh, and I like Arrested Development and Grey's Anatomy. I still like the Simpsons but barely ever catch it. Oh, I've added Run's house! I probably watch these shows a few times every one to four months. Im sure theres a few more, but like I said....I don't watch much of it.
Books:
Song of Myself, Beauty: When the Other Dancer is the Self, Runaway Jury, anything John Grisham or Pat Conroy, Da Vinci Code, The Isis Papers, The Life of Pi, One Tattered Angel, A Walk to Remember, Where the Red Fern Grows-that was a tearjerker, The Bluest Eyes-can't someone just LOVE that little girl!! I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, I am Prepared to Die....lots. Do textbooks count....I'll admit to reading them in some of my rare spare time. I love Whitman, Thoreau, Longfellow, Lowell, Hawthorne, and Emerson!
