Because *you* wouldn't help me in English, no! You were too busy to help me! Too busy to help a drowning man!"
WHAT IS ANTHROPOLOGY? HERE IS A BRIEF VIEW OF HOW WE THINK:
"Humanity thrives on its cultural diversity, and this diversity must be preserved if we are to continue as a species. It is our greatest asset, the very thing that makes us so human; therefore, the outright destruction or the slow assimilation of it into our chaotic, profit driven culture is detrimental to our very survival. I think in the end, we all could learn something about being human from the experience of simpler cultures still intact around the world. If only people could come to understand the importance of cultural diversity, if only people could have their eyes opened to the world and our impact on it, and experience it first hand, we might actually be able to save ourselves from ourselves, and finally begin to understand the world and our place in it."
