About Panik [english version]
The band ’Pan!k’ established 2003 from David Bonk, Timo Sonnenschein, Max Böhlen and Jan Werner. Together they published successfully after appearances their first LP ‘Grau’. It brought them for the beginning a few fans. On a ferderalwide competion [Festspiele Berlin 2003] they had been excellented under eleven school bands by the minister of education.
The attention of the publicity raised up. The new album ‘Positiv’ followed 2004, which brought another price from the minister of education.
A lot of appearances followed e.g. ‘Kielerwoche’; ‘Berlin05’. They made a break for searching a bassist and a singer. In the end of 2005 they found Christian Linke as bassist, who got to know Frank Ziegler in the net forum ‘Stimmenplanet’. He had been tested and got the new singer. Juri Schewe took over the place from Max Böhlen. They got to know Juri on a concert with his previous band.
On an appearance 2006 they had been discovered by a trainee of Universal, followed with a contract and they renamed themselves in ‘Nevada Tan’. In the end of March 2007 they published their first single ‘Revolution’ and on the 20th of April the album ‘Niemand hört dich’ had been following. They had appearances on ‘the Dome’; ‘Bravo Super show’; ‘Schau nicht weg Open air’ and a lot of other. In the middle and in the end of 2007 they made a club tour and appearances in foreign countries [France, Switzerland…].
After the turn of the year they got the report per newsletter that they will be appearing in the future under the name ‘Panik’. Reason: Divorce of their old producers ‘cause of trivial contracts and exploitation.
This didn’t prevent them on going on. They took part by the ‘Bundesvision Songcontest’ and reserved the 6th place. They had been nominated at the ‘Echo’ in the categories ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Alternative Rock’.
On the 15th of April they published their single ‘Was würdest du tun’ [the first under the name ‘Panik’].
In the end of may thay had a five cities/dayly tour and after that a few appearances in different countries.
At the moment they are producing their second album and doing by the way appearances.
