T-Bird Gang is a group consisting of Finnish roots musicians who have been in this genre since the 80's. The band was formed in the summer of 2003 as bassist Chris and guitarist Jay started jamming with Pete who had a long history in Finnish rockin' scene. It didn't take long when drummer Tommy joined the band and T-Bird Gang was born.After a while they shifted from basic rockabilly to Gene Vincent's 1956'-57' material (Pete had a band earlier in the 1990's that played Gene Vincent-material with original arrangements and style) where they found a working concept. The concept of playing G.V. songs with original style turned out so well that guys started writing new original material to fit that style.Their new album " It's Showtime!" proves that the band has succeeded in creating its own distinct sound which still has its roots in early Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps style.
