What is a Street Team?
A street team is usually made up of fans who are called upon to promote an event or album release
Originally, street teams were used by punk and unsigned bands to help promote their upcoming shows or recordings.
What are some things street teams do?
-bringing friends to the shows
-convincing friends to buy band merchandise
-phoning your local radio station to request their songs be played
-putting up posters
-handing out flyers
-posting to band forums
