Don Murdock

Don has been around for awhile, I first starting playing guitar as a young teen played a lot in my twenties, then I got stuck in the zone for a lot of years playing the old favorites and wishing I would learn some new tunes, anyways the last Seven years or so I help start a Band, playing mostly Charity Gigs. I dove back into my guitar playing with a passion especially in the last five years giving up the ghost in favor of learning new tunes and riffs . I am enjoying listening and playing with my Band Buds Al and Tracey, and my buddy Kevin, he inspired me to start to write my own, he is here somewhere on this site maybe he will attach a link.I wrote Highway of Heros, in Memory of My Mother, who lost a brother in WW2 at the age of 18 and never had a chance to come home, still over their somewhere and after I came home one night from standing on the Bridge, this song was written with the Highest Respect for the Young People and their Families, who gave the ultimate sacrafice for freedom, and for all who have gone before them and unfortunetly for those yet, to come.
