As for how things are progressing for BLUE IYED SOUL. The first demo recordings are up. After all this time it feels great to have 6 songs in the player, of original material written by me as well as a great song writer Bill Lauderbach. Thankfully I have a great group of people around me and a great teacher in Rickey Godfrey helping me stay clear of the mistakes I could easily make. Not to mention that he is a great musician, who does all the music tracks and is an exceptional person and great friend.
So while the time line I had in mind when I started chasing my life long dream is in the short term much slower than I had hoped. The music in the long run will benifit greatly from starting slow and going one step at a time. I hope you will come back often to hear new songs as they go up.I can't really say how to decribe the different styles of music that will eventually be recorded. The goal is to have everything from pure Soul to Southern Rock and even some Carolina Beach Music.Please feel free to comment on any song or songs. Good, Bad, or Ugly.
