Band Members: uhmmm...I guess that would be me. vocals, piano, keyboard, violin, & arrangements all done by yours truly.
Influences: Sarah Vaughn, Andy Williams, Gino Vanelli, Sting, Vinx, Nat King Cole & his exquisite daughter Natalie, Alanis Morissette, Phoebe Snow, Mel Torme, Brandford Marsalis, Kathleen Battle, Thomas Quasthoff, Leontyne Price, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Leslie Smith (big bro), Billie Holliday, Aretha Franklin, Seal, Jill Scott, Dianne Reeves Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Sylvia McNair, Faith Evans, Brandy. many many more I'm sure.
Sounds Like: A rich soulful, modern day Nat King Cole mixed with a little chocolate Pavarotti. I don’t know. Listen to the demos and tell me what you think. I have yet to add any real r&b songs, but I assure you one of my fortes is my soulful ad lib riffs. Those are on the way. If you have a song you think is right for me, give me a shout. All the songs on my playlist (except for "I’m Watching Over You") were done at home on my macbook pro, with a cheap crappy mic. In a real studio with people who really know what they’re doing and great mics, the sound would be much better. But it’s a start.
