Minya is me, Jesse James McGarvey I am a 26 year old guitarist based out of Loveland, CO.

I have 10+ years experience behind me and am entirely self taught. I have played guitar in well-known Northern Colorado bands such as Mourned by Flies, Dysorder and Deadless as well as others. I am Currently playing by my self and looking for members!
There is a story behind the name Minya, a tale of music and expression, dragons and blood, darkness and light, and triumph through torture. Minya is the religion of Heavy Metal, a state of mind best expressed through the sounds of powerfully melodic guitars and pounding hypnotic drums.
Currently, I am seeking like-minded talented individuals to contribute to and participate in the Minya project.
Some of my influences include Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Iced Earth, (Good) Metallica, Megadeth, Satriani, Malmsteen, Hammerfall, Metal Church, Testament, Slayer, Ozzy Osbourne (with Zakk Wylde), Demons and Wizards, and Dream Evil. My songwriting is also influenced by novels like the Dragon lance Series, and comics/movies like Spawn, X-Men, Lord of the Rings and Ghost Rider.
