Lachrymal Thought was born in 2005 when Manu Augé and Tim Nadeau began to play together and compose some music in order to find a symphonic metal project named « Lachrymal Thought ». They were mainly influenced by Symphony X, Dark Traquility, Dimmu Borgir and Therion.
Lachrymal Thought really began to become a band when Stephen Cramard joined them in 2006 as a 2nd guitar player. One year later Anthony Loubière joined the band as a keyboard player and Stephen's brother, Vincent Cramard also joined them after he left is own progressive metal project.
In 2008 Lachrymal Thought recorded two demos songs with Replica's singer, Mathieu and they are still searching for a permanent singer to make gigs and serious records.
