Here are some basic instructions adapted from Stop Internet Terrorists.
How to flag (anonymously) a terrorist video. Well! First you click one of the sites below, then choose a link to a jihadi video that needs SMACKING DOWN
1. If you see "Confirm Birth Date," click on it. It's your agreement that you are 18 or over.
2. When the video appears, STOP or PAUSE it a few seconds after it has launched if you don't want to watch. If you choose to watch, we can tell you that you need a strong stomach. These videos are offensive, graphic, and very upsetting to some.
3. Just below and to the right of the video, click on "Flag". This opens another view that gives you the option to "Select a Reason" as to why you are flagging this video.
4. Choose "Hateful or Abusive Content"
5. Next choose "Promotes Hatred or Violence."
6. Where it says - "Please indicate the group attacked" choose - "ethnic origin" "national origin" "religion" or "veterans status". You can use the additional information section below to voice your outrage, or disgust, or even simple comments such as - "It is unlawful to host terrorist videos on US Servers!" or "I can't believe that you stream these videos for terrorist recruiters."
7. When you're done, go back up to the middle of the box and click "Flag This Video".
8. A green (currently) box pops up and says - "Thank you for sharing your concerns" or some other message indicating you are done. You can then arrow back to this site or exit.
Here is a handy poster to help identify terrorist flags. Print it out before you go flagging and mention to youtube whose flag they are flying.
You will need a YouTube account so be prepared to sign up if you do not have one. Don't worry about flagging only once. You can hit them again and again and again if you wait a while. Write in a new comment to youtube if you are so inclined. After you tell them whose flag they are flying, let 'em know how wrong it is that they allow this. If you want to go fishing, start flagging the other videos in the users profile.
