We are a small films co. we do small vignettes on up and coming hip hop artist "Live in the Studio","Live shows",album "teasers" and street "interviews" for artist promoting there albums. Currently we’re working on our first Documentary "The PimpOgraphy of Suthern Soulcat" which chronicles the lifestyle and hustle of a Pimp and Hip hop legend in his raw,uncut,uncensored, everyday struggle to rise to the top and reclaim his throne. We found Suthern Soulcat to be an Interesting person all by his self both seasoned to the street game as well as the rap game,most people don’t know that Soulcat was banned from MTV for being too controversial but embraced by BET for being just that... Soulcat was the 1st rap artist from San Diego,Ca to be signed to a Major Label,The 1st rapper ever to be Interviewed on Dateline NBC about his concept of legalizing dope in America at a time when it wasn’t politically correct to even discuss the topic...but today we see more and more states legalizing dope (medical marijuana)... Then the dramatic downfall in Soulcat’s life he was snitched on and charged with Murder and spent the next 5 years fighting for his life and freedom.no more applause..no more touring the nation..friends turning there back on him in his moment of need..Hung jury after hung Jury The DA retried the case 3 times but Soulcat stood strong and eventually won his case..the case files we saw were astounding and a landmark in criminal justice , no one has ever won 3 murder cases in SD county before , we were told by his Attorney "most people snitch" when they face life in prison but my client "Soulcat" had a bright career a new baby boy just born,his video playing on BET and thousands of fans but he never snitched and showed his heart in that courtroom and even with an all white jury it only takes one to pick up on the DA"s weak case and set my client free..
