I have lived in Europe for 15 years where I received most of my education and musical experience. During that time I played an active role in the theatrical production known as ERIS PLUVIA, a concept encompassing music, visual and performing arts.
Upon my arrival in Sydney in 1988 I joined numerous bands, amongst those the notorious AUSTRALIAN QUEEN SHOW. In 1998 I have formed MEDICINE WHEEL with country/rock songwriter Luke O'Shea, which led to national recognition, including nomination for best group at the prestigious Golden Guitar Awards in 2003.
I have worked in the last few years in perfecting new compositions for acoustic/classical guitars resulting with the formation of the acoustic GUITAR TRIO, a fiery ensemble encompassing flamenco and world oriented music.
Lately going under the instrumental rock fusion ensemble 'DAVE BOVA AND THE CRUISE MISSILES' I'm conducting an exciting and dynamic mix of styles. The Cruise Missiles dig deep into the depths of dynamite rock and roll with dexterity, sensitivity and sheer sense of adventure.
Over the last 10 years,I have been seen supporting for Australian artists as diverse as the Atlantics, James Morrison, Marcia Hines, René Geyer, Martinez Brothers and Slava Grigoryan, both as a solo artist and with the guitar trio.
