My New Autobiography

Hi! My name is Irma Laliashvili. I am a singer and songwriter, aspiring up and coming music artist. I was born in Republic of Georgia (Former USSR, a small country near Black Sea) on May 5th, and raised in Russia, Moscow. My nationality is Armenian/Georgian. I speak 4 languages, Russian, Armenian, English, and Georgian. Even before I could talk, I would sing and make melodies. Noticing my musical talents, my mom insisted that I receive music education. When I was 6 years old I went to a music school and sang in kids ensemble called "Krivoy Gorodok" for 2 years after my regular education. I knew from the early age that I was going to become a singer when I grow up. I always believed that I was born an artist!. At the age of 7, I performed in front of Russia’s most famous pop composer Igor Krutoy. For a fast forward, at the age of 13, my mom and I immigrated to the US due to many personal circumstances. Music was the only thing that made me believe in myself and follow my dream. Singing became my drug, therapy. It helped me to over come and understand a lot of things in life. I came to the US with nothing but hopes and a dream. I sang in the school choir for 4 years. I am planning to compete in singing competitions such as Eurovision in the near future. My friends call me, a perfectionist. If I set my mind on something, I have to do it better than anyone else. My vocal teachers always toled me that I have a unique vocal ability. I believe that my story is just the beginning. My music is my life. I work hard 24 /7 to achieve my goal. I'm very artistic, I write my own lyrics, I can hit the high notes, and I can rock out. I know I have a long way to go yet, but I already have BIG plans for 2009.
My dream is to sign a contract with a major record label. I want to find the right record producer, who will believe in me, my voice, and style. I want to get my own lyrics/music out there in reach of everyone. Now, I will be getting there little by little. I can't even imagine a day without music. I will be doing this forever. Working with Bendiksen productions has proven to be an incredible experience. This process has shown me that with a lot of hard work, dedication and confidence you can achieve whatever you set your mind to.
My main goal for music career is to reach out to all different kinds of people, regardless of race, gender, looks, etc. I wish to entertain and help people through my lyrics. Music is my passion, it's my life, and I will not stop until I achieve my dream. This is my time and I am ready!
I believe that anything is possible ONLY if you have dream, passion, are very determent, and can not live with out your career and passion! You are the boss of your heart! Nothing is impossible in this crazy world! GO, RUN after your dreams! Work hard, believe and have faith in yourself and you will make it!!! Time and luck is the key. Anything is better later then never!
I am currently, working on my first EP Album with Lance Bendiksen, CEO and Producer of Bendiksen Productions.
Bendiksen Productions executive team clients include (U2, Sting, The Fray, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lenny Kravitz, Kiss, Cyndi Lauper, Sarah Mclachlan, Bon Jovi, and so on).
If I don't log in for couple of days, that means that I'm ether in the studio recording or working on my vocal lessons. Busy, busy, busy! We'll be auditioning musician's for my band soon. Stay tuned:))
