INDIVIDUAL represents the coming together of four completely raw elements - separate energies blending to become One, fueled by a relentless compulsion to create. Through its ability to craft a unique and honest sound, this entity has brought forth a new form of Music, a truly distinctive voice amongst many…one that expresses itself beyond category or genre. As separate individuals, all members bring to the table an immense collection of experiences and knowledge, drawing from the well of their deeply passionate lives. Individual's only goal is to embrace their audience in the knowing that they are one half of this reality, and to forever extend the reach of their sonic art. Although the seeds of what would one day become Individual were sown long before the turn of the new millennium, the current and undoubtedly most powerful incarnation dawned in 2004. It was not until the arrival of Ryan Dean Brink that the band realized its fullest potential. Now, combined with the massive pummeling machine that is the drumming of Marco Ovando, the thunderous fluidity of Beto Carbajal's bass playing, the manic riffing and otherworldly ambiance of Luis Gascon's guitars, and the ethereally dynamic and limitless adaptability of Brink's voice - Individual's sound is complete. Individual released their self-titled E.P. in 2006, enlisting the talent of mystical uber-producer David Williams of Melrose Music Studios in Hollywood , Ca. They have since played relentlessly, both in support of their disc and also to showcase their arsenal of yet-unrecorded material. With the experience of playing everywhere from east to west, north to south, and having shared stages with many national and touring acts, they have demonstrated an ability to play near sold out shows and are continually writing and working toward recording new music for follow up releases.
