My name is Beth, a cancer suvivor since I was born, ended up with kidney failure, so I needed a transplant when I was only three and a half months old in '87. That only lasted about three and a half years because I was rejecting the kidney and it wasn't doing very well. I had another kidney transplant back in '91 from my grandmother(dad's mom) when I was only three and a half years old, it was on February 28th, I've had this 'one' kidney for seventeen years!!! Yes, I struggled with lots of illnesses and medications, but I'm still moving on and not giving up! I do have such a long story about my life, which I already wrote on my blog, if you'd like to see.I also have a very special man in my life, his name is Jared, he's 25 years old and is such a sweet gentleman. We've been together since June 15th, we met on Sept. 5th, and still going very strong. He's the best man in my life, I don't know what I would do without him. He's my angel, my hero, my everything. I love him with all of my heart, body, and soul! I thank God for him everyday. He means everything to me.Now I'm 21 years old and I live with mother who I love very much and my son, who's eight years old, his name is Teddy, and he's a Jack Russell Terrier, I love him so much too. He means so much to me because he does some things for me, he is a wild little dog, loves to look out the window to see if someone is coming home, if there's a dog outside, he enjoys eating when I eat, drinks when I drink, and he runs right upstairs to my room, jumps on my bed, and sleeps. I do spoil him a lot! He's my best friend that is always there for me.
