With the release of his first album, "Welcome To The Ville", Bukshot began the Louisville Empire, known as Mobstyle Music in 1996. Selling 7,000 units almost instantly, Bukshot quickly became number 1 in Louisville, and knew his spot was marked for years to come! With the release of his second album, "One More For The Haters", and the 15,000 sales gained from it, he quickly stepped his game up and began working on his third album. Entitled "They Still Don't Love Me", this would be Mobstyle's first national release and would finally put the state of Kentucky on the map. With features like Bubba Sparxxx, Jazze Pha, Brotha Lynch Hung, First Degree The DE, and Haystak Mak Million, Bukshot knew he could not go wrong with this album. 80,000 units later, Bukshot sat on his throne with a shit eating grin, plotting on what was to come next. Two years later he released "No White Flags" which featured various artist, some of which included T-Bo of 504 Boyz and the newly famed Static Major who was recently featured on the hit track "Lollipop" by Lil Wayne and passed just after the video. Later on he released his first mixtape entitled "City Under Siege" which featured many local artist and a few big names such as Bonecrusher, Paul Wall, and Nappy Roots. Early 2008 a second mixtape "Bukshot and Hostile: The Boss And The Brick, hosted by Big V of Nappy Roots, was dropped.
With the newly signed artist, Hostile, Cinful, Krymsin, Big Biz, and Tha Sluggaz, featured on this album, Bukshot knew his army had finally been assembled. This is Mobstyle, this is Kentucky's top selling label, like us or not, we run this!!!!
