Scarfade is a metalcore band delivering massive distortions based out of Athens, Greece. The band was formed in the winter of 2007 by George Archontoulis and Fanis Theodorakopoulos but for various reasons, a series of lineup changes took place until today's four piece started assaulting the Athenian metal scene with it's heavy riffs and thunderous drumming.
Scarfade features frontman George Archontoulis, a metal incarnate who displays a vocal range from death to hardcore, while the furious rhythm section of the band consists of drummer extraordinaire Alexandros Georgariou. and the intense bass player Stelios Nikoletakis. Scardafe 's quite compelling dual guitar onslaught is brought forth by George A. and Fanis T., a guitar player who has been known to rip out a solo or two. Bringing to the stage hardcore and elements of aggressive death, nu and thrash metal, their style contains much more than just these musical elements, since all four members pull their inspiration from different musical genres. Although the band is newly formed, all members played in various bands before landing a position in Scarfade.
After their promo cd was released in JANUARY 09', which was very well received by the audience, Scarfade are now engaged in what they know best: playing high-octane gigs and taking the town by storm. Scarfade are currently unsigned and the band is developing older song ideas which haven't been recorded yet.
