ALEXANDRE SAAD - Alexandre Augusto Fernandes Saad nasceu em Uberaba, MG, em 08 de dezembro de 1961. Desde os 09 anos tocava violão tendo sido registrado nessa época a sua primeira composição, em parceria musical com um amigo de escola: a obra intitulada “Espuma” (samba-canção). Consta também que ao concluir o curso primário fora convidado a ser o orador da turma fazendo seu discurso em versos sem intervenção de adultos. Desde então participou de movimentos culturais e festivais musicais da região. Saiu de sua cidade natal aos 21 anos, após ter-se formado em odontologia e foi morar em Guarulhos-SP onde gravou pela primeira vez no ano de 1987, na cidade vizinha de São Paulo. Em 1990 mudou-se para Campo Grande – MS e sofreu influências musicais que formaram seu estilo musical atual. Voltou a participar de festivais, sagrando-se campeão de um festival no estado produzido pela Rede MATOGROSSENSE de Televisão (Globo). Em 1996 voltou a gravar desta vez o cd MINAS PANTANAL, com um trabalho totalmente autoral. Em 1999, retornou para Uberaba e fortaleceu sua atuação artística e musical com a criação de um programa cultural na Televisão Local (TV UNIVERSITÁRIA - Rede Minas) chamado OFICINA DE ARTES NA TV, que tinha o objetivo de divulgação das diversas expressões culturais brasileiras, ficando no ar por 4 anos ininterruptos. Em 2005 migrou para a cidade vizinha de Uberlândia com outro programa no mesmo estilo: o programa RETIRO BRASILEIRO, na TV PARANAÍBA (REDE RECORD) em Uberlândia-MG. Em 2006 foi contratado para apresentar ao vivo, via satélite, o programa ACORDA BRASIL de periodicidade diária, com variedades, entrevistas, cultura e agro-negócios no canal TERRA VIVA (Rede Bandeirantes). Fluente nas composições e instrumentista de viola, já em sua terra natal se envolveu com a verdadeira musica raiz brasileira, sofrendo influências de poetas e artistas como Tião Carreiro, Silveira e Silveirinha e Goiá, além de posteriormente com outras vertentes de viola de todo o Brasil. A música regional brasileira com artistas como Almir Sater, Renato Teixeira, Paulo Simões, Sérgio Reis, etc., também formataram seu estilo atual. Fixando sua vocação de musico caipira dedicado ao instrumento, buscou sempre trabalhar tentando sintetizar o desejo de se reproduzir a música que se ouve no toque de sua viola. Sendo assim seu trabalho se confunde com o autoral e o interprete, onde passeia com seu instrumento em vários estilos desde o sertanejo raiz até o clássico com peças de Raul Torres, Angelino de Oliveira, Antenógens Silva, passando pelo samba, chorinho e até o clássico com Mozart, Bethoven, Bach e Villa Lobos. Também se envolveu com pesquisa e composição de músicas regionais e folclóricas tendo sido apresentador dos 50 anos do festival de folias de reis de Uberaba e região este ano. Com músicas gravadas por artistas mineiros, sul matogrossenses e paulistas, Alexandre Saad gravou recentemente mais um álbum: EU E MEU IRMÃO, também trabalho autoral. Tendo participado de vários eventos, como shows atualmente é apresentador do programa TV do Berro em cadeia nacional, via satélite pelo canal TERRA VIVA – Rede Bandeirantes de Televisão. Tem sido apresentador de eventos musicais e culturais em Frutal, Uberaba, Uberlândia onde se destacam o 2º. ENCONTRO DE VIOLEIROS DE UBERLÂNDIA em 2005, o ENCONTRO DE VIOLA E CATIRA de Uberaba, onde foi lançado a obra “Catira a poesia do sertão” de Gilberto Resende, em 2005 e recentemente fazendo um dos shows principais do 4º. ENCONTRO DE VIOLEIROS DE UBERLÂNDIA, em 2007. Alexandre Saad representando a região do Triângulo Mineiro no estado de Minas Gerais, conhecida como Mesopotâmia brasileira, defende suas raízes, canta as suas águas e dirige seu trabalho com temas ambientais, sendo considerado um dos talentos desse gênero musical caipira onde a viola e a poesia, compõe a nova música regional do Brasil.ALEXANDRE SAAD Alexandre Augusto Fernandes Saad was born in Uberaba, Brazil, on 08 December 1961. In 1999, he returned to Uberaba and fortified his artistic and musical performance with the creation of a cultural program in Local Television (TV UNIVERSITÁRIA – Rede Minas) named OFICINA DE ARTES NA TV (Art Workshops in TV), which aimed to spread the diversity in Brazil’s culture, being on air for four uninterrupted years. In 2005 he moved to the neighboring city of Uberlândia with another program in the same style: RETIRO BRASILEIRO, on TV Paranaíba (RECORD Television Network) in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. In 2006 he was hired to perform live, via satellite, the daily program ACORDA BRASIL (Wake up Brazil), with varieties, interviews, culture and agro-business in the channel TERRA VIVA (Bandeirantes Television Network). Fluent in viola instrument compositions, already in his homeland became involved with the true root Brazilian music, suffering influences of many poets and artists, such as Tião Carreiro, Silveira e Silveirinha and Goiá, beyond later with other parts of viola instrument from all over Brazil. Brazilian regional music with artists such as Almir Sater, Renato Teixeira, Paulo Simões, Sergio Reis, etc, has also formatted his current style. Fixing his dedication to his vocation in privileged instrumental country music, he has always tried to synthesize the desire to play a music that can be recognized by touch of a viola instrument. So his work confuses author and interpreter, where he leads his instrument in various styles from the root to the classic to pieces of Raul Torres, Angelino de Oliveira, Antenógens Silva, through the samba, and even the classic chorinho music with Mozart, Bethoven, Bach and Villa Lobos. He also became involved with research and composition of regional and folk music, being the presenter of the 50 years’ festival of “Folias de Reis” (King’s Folia) of Uberaba region this year. Having songs recorded by artists from Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul and São Paulo, Alexandre Saad recorded his most recent album: “EU E MEU IRMÃO”, which is, also, a copyright work. Having participated of many events, such as concerts, nowadays he presents the program TV DO BERRO, in the national chain, by the satellite channel TERRA VIVA - Bandeirantes Television Network. He also has been the presenter of music and cultural events in Plaquemine, Uberaba, Uberlandia where we can detach the “SECOND MEETING OF VIOLIST OF UBERLÂNDIA” in 2005, the “MEETING OF AND VIOLA CATIRA” of Uberaba, which launched the "Catira the poetry of the wilderness" work of Gilberto Resende, in 2005, and, recently, making the main show of the “FOURTH MEETING OF VIOLIST” of Uberlândia in 2007. Alexandre Saad representing the region in the Triangle Mineiro in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil known as Brazilian Mesopotamia, defends his roots, singing their waters and directs her work with environmental issues and is considered one of the talents of this musical genre where the guitar and rustic poetry, composes a new regional music of Brazil.
