The long awaited return of the_novels is finally here. After being crowned Zebra Bar's Battle of the Bands winners late 2008, they took time away from their busy gigging schedule to freshen their sound and to work on new, exciting material for 2009. After teaming up with new lead singer/guitarist Matthew Shawn-Collins aka Cloud Guru, they have honed their sound; fusing clear, distinct melodies, subtle strings and pianos and rich harmonies. This time around the music is more dynamic and alive. November celebrates the return of the_novels onto the circuit again in Kent & London.
with the new songs nearing completion and bookings already starting to fill up, the mood is ecstatic in the_novels camp as they now start planing for the release of their debut e.p - due winter.
