Aye Whut up. It's ya boy J-Kern. Time ta update this shit. You now talkin to tha new n improved professional J-Kern ya heard. Aight well i started rappin in March of 2008. My first song i ever recorded was called "Knocked Up". I used tha beat to Akons "Locked Up". I did that just fuckin around after listenin ta BEN$ON's songs at school. I sent tha track to BEN$ON and he told me i should think about takin music seriously. So i thought and decided to fuck around with it some more. BEN$ON and Neezy were goin back n forth with DGL which is a group from Port Huron and i decided to side with BEN$ON and Neezy. Then we all got into a long beef with them. A while later that was over and it was time ta get busy. We wanted to gather up tha local artists from MI n make a mixtape. So that's what we did. Tha mixtape was called "From 810 to Bad Axe". After that I started collabin left and right and started working on my first mixtape which was titled "Lessons From BEN$ON". During that time I got my brother Papa G to start rapping. I did some collabs with him n he was one of tha guys featured on my mixtape. After tha tape was done I handed out copies to my friends but now that i look back on that music i know it was shit and i'm embarrassed bout that shit. I stepped my game up n made a better mixtape n was a lot more proud of it. That mixtape was called "My Time My Turn". I handed that mixtape out like crazy. That really got tha name J-Kern out. Almost immediatly after i finished that mixtape i got a msg from Diyamond Breed Ent. They were interested in signing me. I debated on whether to take tha deal for a while but in tha end decided not to. I wanted to wait to catch a bigger fish. Next thing we wanted to do was another mixtape with local artists. So we got tha guys together and made another. We called this one "Rizzen". We made that available for fee download on tha web. Soon after we finished Rizzen i started workin on a mixtape with my boy Weezdot. I met him shortly before i made my mixtape "My Time My Turn". He brought a lot of new shit for me. We made tracks like they were goin outta style. We've almost completed our mixtape which we are calling "Tha Takova". We just have a few more tracks to complete and it will be done. We're gonna pass this mixtape out for free all over. Right now we're doing shows in Detroit. Doing anything to get our names out there. Oh almost. Tha other day i got a msg from another record company called Heatrize Ent. They contacted me about business on Feb 26th of '09. I'm waiting for tha CEO to get back at me. Hopefully shit goes through with them. They look like a more legit company than Diyamond Breed Ent. looked. So I'mma keep my fingers crossed. Keep on tha lookout for updates on ya boy. It's always a blast when me you n BEN$ON get in tha studio n light shit up. WEEZDOT- Idk why you decided ta hit me up over tha summer but i'm glad as fuck you did. Ever since then we been tearin tha game up. Tha game been lookin like it went through a paper shreader haha. "Tha Takova" gonna be a great success man. We got it on lock. NEEZY- Neezy my man. You keepin tha Dusky goin bro. We only collabed a couple times but they turned out real good. We def gotta get shit poppin again. Oh n we actually gotta get drunk sometime haha. Gotta have a plan next time we kick it fa sho! ERIC BLATT- Yo dawg. We been in tha same clique since i started pretty much. That Outlaw song we did was cool man. You got talent for sure man. You def remind me of Eminem and that's a fuckin good thing. We also gotta collab more.
