i gave my heart to a simple chord

About Me

not the person i was a year ago... but i think this can be said every year. there are days i believe i've figured out the secret of life, or want to talk about various theories/ideas, and others where i can barely remember how to put one foot in front of the other. most of the time i fall somewhere in-between. probably shouldn't take everything that comes out of my mouth literally. tend to be bad with new people. sorry about that! at times painfully shy or introverted. if i'm really comfortable around you i like to be inappropriate for shock value. born a night owl. good judge of character. have a core group of wonderful friends i love who are always there for me. primary influences (since age 17) would have to be: music, boys who've become brothers over the years, and gay men. generally drawn to things that push boundaries and challenge thinking. have a low b.s., drama, and negativity tolerance. :(

My Interests

creativity: music, art, photography, ideas, writing, films

museums, galleries, shows, concerts, music shopping

karma, philosophy, history

cleverness, irony, sarcasm, fun, being silly/not taking oneself so seriously all of the time, inside jokes

city life, nightlife, doing nothing and everything, nerding out

drinking socially. current drinks: cape cod, martini w/infused vodka, tea, and decaf vanilla/gingerbread/soy latte.

my ipod, my mac, podcasts, playing rock band, my three month old nephew, zzzzz...

I'd like to meet:

authentic people with common interests who like occasional spontaneity, are unconventional on occasion, and are comfortable pretty much anywhere. people that seek more than what is fed to them and have the ability to understand and respect even if they do not necessarily agree. "treat others as you would like to be treated" types. those not afraid to be themselves. Change View Friend Link Change View Friend Link
