About Nicole
Nicole is a talented female singer and songwriter hailing from Salford, Greater Manchester and is currently a student at The University of Salford studying Popular Music & Recording.
Although Nicole has studied music for the past 5 years, she is still a profoundly new musician, having written her first songs this year. However, her mature vocals and intelligence for lyricism and harmony within her songs are making waves amongst her peers and other musicians, and she herself is becoming a pinnacle vocalist within Salford and the Manchester area.
"Song writing is a relatively new thing for me though, I'd never had the courage before to take it up, but again it's down to who you meet and who has that enthusiasm that rubs off on you. If it wasn't for those people I don't think I'd have that push to do this."
She has worked alongside up and coming young blues band Tantrum over the past 2 months, performing at gigs around the country, and is achieving a name for herself as a fresh young blues talent today. Nicole believes her friends and colleagues from university are the key part of her becoming a songwriter.
"It's just one thing where you are so appreciative of being in a room of people who understand what it's like and have such a love for it that it just makes you want to create more and more. It's such a sad statement I know but it's true, because you feel you've waited years to meet people like that and you get into a room with them and you can't stop talking about it."
Her vocals are powerful and dynamic vocals and at just 20 years old, Nicole knows how to sing like the best of them.
