Hey there! My name is Scott and this profile was created as a means of celebrating the awesome 1980s, particularly with regards to my own views and memories of the decade. It is by no means representative of all my interests, just a selective portion of them, but I intend to have fun with it. Warning! - this page may be rather self-indulgent. I was born in December 1973. As such the '80s for me covers the ages 6 through 16, my school years. I had a brilliant childhood, really enjoyed it and as a consequence can look back on those years with a great deal of nostalgia. Don't get me wrong - it's not that I live in the past. I didn't get left behind in the '80s, I simply brought them with me.
Because I spent the majority of the "decade of excess" living in small rural towns in Western Australia my own perceptions and memories are likely to be very different from most others. But in addition to sharing my own memories and interests, I welcome anyone to share their own as well.
