OUR ODYSSEY
PHIL AND DOUG MET IN THE SUMMER OF 2006. AFTER FORMING AGAINST THE GRAINAND MANY MEMBER CHANGES LATER, THE TWO TEAMED UP WITH TOMMY-T ON DRUMS IN THE SUMMER OF 2007. BOTH PHIL AND DOUG HAD BEEN IN PREVIOUS BANDS WITH "T" (SEPERATELY), SO THE UNION FELT NATURAL. AFTER FORMING A SET AND PLAYING OUT A COUPLE OF TIMES, ATG ADDED ADAM (NOW IN TERRA FERNO) ON BASS IN JANUARY 2008 AND CHANGED THE NAME TO OPPOSITE FACE !!
WITH THE BIRTH OF THEIR MYSPACE, A FULL-LENGTH CD RECORDED AND NOW BEING PRODUCED AND ENGINEERED BY JOE JOHNSTON AT THE PUS CAVERN, AND HALF THEIR RECORDED TITLES AIRED ON 98 ROCK'S LOCAL LICKS BY MARK GILMORE, OPPOSITE FACE BEGAN A TRACK RECORD PLAYING OUT IN LOCAL AREA VENUES SUCH AS THE BOARDWALK, THE KENNEL CLUB, THE FIRE ESCAPE, ON THE Y & UGLY'S WITH A FEW OUT-OF-TOWN SHOWS IN THE BOOKS AS WELL.
THINGS MOMENTARILY UNRAVELED WHEN TOM AND ADAM LEFT THE BAND IN SEPTEMBER OF 2008, AND DOUG HELPED FORM THE BAND DAMAGED WITH ARON, CURT & JEFF FROM SEXCIETY. THAT LASTED FOR A SECOND WITH JEFF & DOUG EXITING AND RETURNING TO RESPECTIVE BANDS. PHIL, TOM & DOUG BEGAN TALKING ABOUT REUNITING AFTER A BRIEF HIATUS FOR THE HOLIDAYS. IN JANUARY OF 2009, THE ORIGINAL THREE MEMBERS PULLED IN DUANE ON BASS (ALL THREE PREVIOUSLY HAD JAMMED WITH HIM) REFORMING OPPOSITE FACE .
