About Me

The Last Folk-N-Roll Band was formed in 2004 by Rick Gellise, and the late Mike Czerwinski. They played a few benefit gigs here and there as a way to keep alive their love of a fading sound: 1960's folk rock.
When Dan Mazur joined the band in 2005, things started to slowly snowball. Along with coffee house performances, the band seemed to pop up in bizzare locations like shopping centers, street corners, and parks.
The Last Folk-N-Roll Band went electric in 2007 when Michigan Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame Nominee Scott Causley joined the band, and has been playing clubs around Bay City.
Since Mike's passing,in 2009,the bass has been taken over by Jerry Marcet, and Terry Kelly has joined to help round out the vocals
Their high energy sound ,and the jangle of electric 12 string guitar, makes the hard driving renditions of these forgotten nuggets sparkle.THE LAST breathes a life, and power back into the music ,that keeps everyone dancing, and singing along. COME ON PARTY LIKE IT'S 1969!!
