MR. & MS.

MR&MS present the first video MR.&MS. At 28 years old, Radu is a Romanian musician of unparalleled fame in Europe and the eastern hemisphere. In 2001, he auditioned to become a member of the dance-pop group, O-Zone. The group worked very hard, and after many long recording sessions and rehearsals, they made their debut in Romania: their song, Dragostea Din Tei (commonly known as the Numa Numa or Maya-hi song) brought them instant fame. However, the extent of their coming fame across Europe was unimaginable. Spurred by the momentum of Dragostea Din Tei, O-Zone became an outstanding success: from Holland to Spain to Germany to France to Romania and Russia, O-Zone was number one in all music charts, such as Billboard. They performed in almost every major city of Western and Eastern Europe. Featured almost daily in every magazine and television show, O-Zone conquered the European world; never before had such huge success ever been seen. Even after O-Zone split up in 2005, Dragostea Din Tei suddenly became a smash hit in Japan. Having made his mark in Europe and Japan, Radu is now advancing his solo career. In the summer of 2005, he finished producing the album of his close friend, Mahay; the album includes a song called "Dulce" featuring Radu. In May of 2006, Radu released his solo album, entitled Alone. He wrote the music and lyrics to the albums' songs himself- some of the songs are in Romanian, his native language and some are in English; the album also includes a song in Russian.In 2006, Radu opened his own recording studio and started to work intensely on his next project. He worked non-stop in the studio, and as he composed the song “Love is Not a Reason to Cry,” Radu realized that a female voice was required to give the song a special color. Many candidates auditioned to fulfill the role, but not even one among them had what the singer was searching for, which was a voice that would fit perfectly with his own. By a lucky chance, he recorded a “vocal guide” with Ana, his wife, just to finalize his musical piece. Radu knew the vocal capabilities of Ana, but he couldn’t imagine that their voices would be so compatible. There followed a lot of “negotiations” until Radu succeeded in convincing her to become a part of the project “MR&MS". MR&MS is a project completely different from the previous projects in which he was taking part, or which Radu produced by himself. It’s the project of an artist who reached his maturity, a culmination that can be felt through the style of the songs- it is a totally different image and a whole other attitude of the artist. The first album, Heartbeat, newly released in 2008, is a compilation of pop rock with influences of R&B and electro; the album also includes club remixes by a well known DJ. The song “Love is not a reason to cry” is the first single from the album of the “MR&MS” project. The first album is called "HEARTBEAT"!
