The Big Smoke Family

Dom Roy and Al have been playing together for over five years, as a rhythm section backing a verity of artists and playing their own shows. The idea behind The big smoke family was to take all the music they love playing and turn it into something personal unique and most importantly FUN!. With Dom's heavy New Orleans blues/roots influence, Alex's rock/pop sensibility and Roy's Jazz/funk background the big smoke sound was born. In their shows they have some of the city's funkiest and most soulful musicians joining in; from horns to percussion to guest vocalists everyone is welcome to join the family.
