About Me
Well hello there and welcome to GoldBitch Records new home within the myspace community. My name is Michael O’Sullvian and I am the proud owner of GoldBitch Records. So I hear you cry what is this ‘GoldBitch Records’ and ‘how did I find myself in such a magical place’. Ok well maybe not the latter, but Goldbitch Records is a brand new record label set up by moi to help uncover some of the best kept secrets in new music around the world. We want to start at the bottom (not really by choice) and then someday give the big four a run for their money.
My vision is to create a label that supports everything that is GOOD, has passion, soul, depth, and most of all originality. I want to create a great, cross genre roster of acts signed to my label and I want to be able to constantly support new music and lead the way in creating new trends.
Currently I am working out of Hyde Park in Leeds, but I am forever going south to try to shout at the money men about out what ever my latest find is.
Currently there is a real buzz going round the North as well as the South. There is a real sense that a brand new bread of world class talent is emerging. From pioneering tracks by The Libertines, to the Arctic Monkeys championing the ‘fresh sound’ as well as leading the way in online promotion and distribution, to brand new acts getting great responses such as, Red Eye Banquet, Vatican Jet, Jinzena, 3 Days til..., and The Pidgeon detectives.

We are always looking for the next best thing, whether it’s a photographer, writer journalist, band, graphic designer, solo artist, former greek god or wrestler we have room for you all.
Our motto is simply “help us, to help youâ€. What that means? Well GoldBitch is a team of individuals who specialise in various different fields within the music and entertainment industries working togetther, we have decided to adopt a ‘you scratch our back we lick yours’ policy. You see all of us are either students or graduates, or just people with dream and beliefs, and desires to go fourth and change the world, while having a mashed up time.

I am pleased to announce that the GoldBitch Records Presents… show on LSRFM.COM enjoyed its 50th hour on air a few weeks ago. Well done everyone who works at making this such a good radio show.
GoldBitch Records is privileged to enjoy a 2 hour radio slot on Leeds Student Radio. This is available within Leeds City Borough on 106.6FM or worldwide at www.lsrfm.com .
GoldBitch Records Presents… plays a host of fresh new music along with classic tracks.
If it’s good enough we play it, simple as that.
I am eternally grateful for the support of my two radio presenters Sian Smith and Bryan Matthews, whom without the show would cease to exist.
Our show is aired every Saturday between 8pm and 10pm and has been described as ‘explosive’.
The show is designed to be a pre-club show, so is high energy and plays the best in dance, Hip Hop, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Soul and Funk as well as the unsigned acts GoldBitch supports.

GOLDBITCH AND THE FUTURE
So what lies ahead for Goldbitch Records then? Well, we have a host of new projects to unveil in 2007, this including: Goldbitch’s second band signing (more info set to come), GoldBitch and LSRFM.COM joint hosting of the Millennium Square gig in Leeds in May (TBC), Moss and Luke from 3 Days long awaited debut solo albums, and of course sooner to now the release of 3 Days til 2morrows debut double A sided single, ‘The Fubi’. Coming soon.
