EfraÃn GarcÃa es un pianista y compositor argentino nacido en Rosario en 1969.
Vivió 13 años en Brasilia (Brasil), donde fue discÃpulo del pianista Ney Salgado (3ra generación de discÃpulos de Franz Liszt). Paralelamente realizó estudios de análisis musical y composición con Luis Mucillo. Más tarde, de regreso en la Argentina, se perfeccionó con Aldo Antognazzi en Buenos Aires.
Ha participado en varios cursos internacionales de música y obtuvo el 3er premio en el Concurso Nacional de Piano de Aracatuba, en Brasil. Fue becado dos veces por la Fundación Antorchas para perfeccionarse en el paÃs.
Como solista y músico de cámara, se presentó en paÃses como Brasil, Chile, Paraguay, Colombia y Alemania, mientras que en la Argentina se ha presentado en Rosario, La Plata, Buenos Aires, Alta Gracia, Bariloche, Mendoza y San Juan.
Su primer trabajo discográfico, "Ensueños", fue editado en 2003 y ya superó las tres mil copias vendidas. Su segundo álbum solista, "Ondina", editado en 2006, se aproxima a las mil copias. Ambos discos fueron lanzados por el sello independiente Zurenov Music y producidos por EfraÃn GarcÃa. Sus obras para piano se han difundido en radios nacionales e internacionales.
Además de sus trabajos como compositor e intérprete, EfraÃn se dedica a la enseñanza del piano en forma particular desde hace más de 15 años.

EfraÃn GarcÃa is an argentine pianist and composer born in Rosario in 1969.
He lived 13 years in Brasilia (Brazil), where he was a disciple of pianist Ney Salgado (3rd generation of Franz Liszt disciples.) He also did studies of musical analysis and composition with Luis Mucillo. Later on, once he was back in Buenos Aires (Argentina), he perfected his skills with Aldo Antognazzi.
He has participated in several international musical contests and earned the 3rd prize in the National Piano Contest of Aracatuba in Brazil. He was awarded a scholarship twice by the Antorchas Foundation to continue perfecting his skills in the country.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he gave several presentations in countries like Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Colombia and Germany. In Argentina he already gave concerts in Rosario, La Plata, Buenos Aires, Alta Gracia, Bariloche, Mendoza and San Juan.
His first album, “Ensueños†(roughly translated as “Dreamscapesâ€) was released in 2003 and already sold over three thousand copies. His second work, “Ondina†(“Undineâ€) was released in 2006 and already sold over one thousand copies. Both albums were released under the independent label Zurenov Music and were produced by EfraÃn GarcÃa. His piano works have been broadcasted by several national and international radios.
Besides his works as composer and pianist, EfraÃn also teaches piano for more than fifteen years ago.
