At the moment, I'd like to meet a maraca-shakin, wolf-slingin, ding-dong daddy/mama, for the purposes of starting a new punk rock group.
The idea is that I'll be on the guitar, plus singing and foot-stomping and I'm looking for someone to sing and play miked up maracas/tambourine/harp, etc. If it works, I may think of assembling more musicians.
If anyone's interested or knows someone who might be keen please get in touch asap as I want to get weaving, like yesterday.
Persons considering applying for this high-pressure role in the rock n roll industry should preferably live nearish Brighton for ease of rehearsing and communication.
Must have: own gear, sense of humour/rhythm. No time-wasters. Also, I can't abide noisy eaters. Other than that, I'm fairly easy going. Oh, and the right person will ideally be reasonably presentable with a high standard of personal hygiene. And a working knowledge of the complete works of Bo Diddley, the history of doo wop and punk rock. And a thorough-going comprehension of the creative possibilities of hip-swingin boogie is essential.
Other than that, I'm pretty easy about the whole thing.
Gitsum!
