She is a member of ASCAP and her ultimate goal is to write for artist signed with a major record label in the following genres (R&B, Hip-Hop, Christian, Neo-Soul, and Pop). Her passion for music started at a very young age. Over the years she has been inspired by artist such as New Edition, Keyshia Cole, Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Jill Scott, Mary J. Blige, and Raheem DeVaughn. Dana has faced life's challenges, and endured them with grace and determination, which is the heart of her music & lyrics.
