Airstrikes are no more.
We were four people, we played four gigs that went extremely well. We were asked to play label showcases, and support signed bands. It was all a bit much for a project which was started for fun and became obsolete once someone came up with a little thing called "Guitar Hero".
I invented the label "post-hardcore powerpop" to describe our music, but "post post" is maybe more appropriate, I mean we're all "post-punk", "post-hardcore", "post-chav" these days arn't we? I was pretty proud of our sound. Energetic, joyous, expansive and pop-savvy.
Dave and I are working on a new project together. If you stumble upon this, you're looking for a band or musicians for your band, and you like what you hear get in touch. The band email still works and I check it now and then (

Thanks to everyone who supported this band, cheered us on, sang-along. you know who you are, and you're all legends.
Now go and check out School because they are by far the best band in London right now.
