With combined experience of over 25 years in the music business working with some of the industry's biggest names, Curtis Watts and Sam Barsh have pooled their skills as musicians, songwriters, bandleaders and producers into Watts and Barsh Productions.

Born in Harlem and raised in the South Bronx, CURTIS WATTS has been on the Funk, Hip Hop, R&B, Rock, World Beat and Jazz scene in New York City for many years.
Watts became widely recognized in the music industry when he assembled two ground breaking groups in the 90's, each of which signed and released albums with major record labels: Smokin Suckaz Wit Logic (Epic) and Sample This! (Elektra).
He has recorded with many of the top names in hip hop and urban music, including Busta Rhymes, Nas, KRS-1 of Boogie Down Productions, Eric B. & Rakim, Large Professor, Lloyd Cole, De La Soul, Salt N Pepa, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Kid & Play, EPMD, G. Rap & Polo, Redman, Heavy D & the Boyz, and DJ Red Alert.
Watts' music appears in the movie "Ali" with Will Smith and the animated feature "Street Fighter 2." He remixed Mick Jagger’s debut single "Sweet Thing" with Anton Pukshanski and also remixed Living Coulor's material with his group SSL (Smokin' Suckaz wit Logic).
As a musician for hire, Curtis Watts has performed as well as shared the stage with Jay Z., Pharrell, Stevie Wonder, Santana, Terry Bozio ( of the Frank Zappa Band), Jaco Pastorius with Delmar Brown, Ozomati, Pharaoh Sanders, Roy Ayers, members of the Gypsy Kings, Trilok Gurtu, Salif Keita, Prince Paul, DJ Logic, Groove Collective, and Cyro Baptista.
Curtis Watts is currently associated with Sony publishing and independent labels as a songwriter/producer and drummer.
SAM BARSH was born in Chicago and raised in Wilmette Illinois. After moving to the east coast at the age of 18, he quickly established himself as an in-demand keyboardist, writer and producer.
He has performed and recorded with a diverse group of artists, including Cassandra Wilson, Boyz II Men, The Brand New Heavies, Redman, Bobby McFerrin, Avishai Cohen, Emily King, Eric Roberson, Robin Eubanks, Debbie Friedman, Branford Marsalis, Jeff Parker (of Tortoise), Lonnie Plaxico, Caron Wheeler (of Soul II Soul), Dave Samuels (of Spyro Gyra), Ku'umba Frank Lacy, The Mighty Blue Kings, Vikter Duplaix, Omar Edwards, Mino Cinelu, Rez Abbasi, Kenny Wollessen and Todd Carey.
He has toured extensively throughout the North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, and performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall and The 40th Grammy Awards Nominees Party in New York, The House of Blues in Chicago, The North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland, The Blue Note in New York, Milan and Japan, Billboard Live in Japan, Royal Festival Hall in London, Palao de Musica in Barcelona, Parc Floral in Paris, and the Stockholm Jazz Festival in Sweden.
In addition to his busy performance and production schedule, Sam Barsh currently has a solo album out entitled "I Forgot What You Taught Me" on RazDaz Recordz. Barsh wrote and produced the entire album, a mix between jazz, r&b and ambient trance.
