USBMS as a whole, would like to see the Canadian section of its organization be as strong as some of its other sects. I can not accomplish this task alone. If you are involved in the black metal scene in Canada, support it.
Lord Scrotum’s solo project FROST was born in July 2007 to impose TRUE METAL upon the masses. FROST represents purity and strenght through the greatness of nature’s forces, hate and isolation. FROST is more than an art form - It is a statement, a movement, an act of disobedience and a rejection of modern ways of thinking such as democracy, vegetarianism, drugs and other weaknesses one can encounter in our modern society. FROST belongs to no scene - fuck p.c. bullshit!
To my friends of the empire ,,,,the music i have featured here is my old band summertime daisies ,,,1990-1996 the album was titled the clarity of impurity ,,,over 2500 copies sold and additional 2000 copies distributed ,,,featured on 3 compilations albums ,,,the band played an extensive career with prestigious acts and tours ,,,in this time of metal the heavy stuff was very underground and not like the scene today ,,,with friends like CRYPTOPSY KATAKLYSM ,,and countless others we were on the cusp of signing with black mark europe ,,,but ,,,shortly thereafter the band decided to disband ,,,to this day no one really knows why ,,,i personally have been dormant for years and my artwork has returned me to the black ,,, videos and films are next to come in the form of BLACKENED EMPIRE from me,,,i will have Trevor ( summertimedaisies)playing drums me bass and vocals ,,mike Gregory (war pigs),this music will be soon ,,,i am very busy with my photography work and business ,,,and my art keeps me quite occupied so be patient and enjoy,,,,TOPLEY OF THE BLACKENED EMPIRE.
Ashes of the Cross is a Melodic Black Metal band from Ottawa. Formed from the remains of a Death Metal band called Ritual Mutilation, Ashes of the Cross’ sound is more melody oriented Black Metal in the vein of Rotting Christ and Early Dissection (both of whom heavily influenced them). The original line up was Ketzer guitar/vocals, Andromalius guitar/voals, and Argile drums and bass. Barberous joined a month and a half or so afterward. The Death By Inverted Crucifision demo has been released and is available for purchase.
Tomhet is a young one-man-band from Montreal and it was created in the fall of 2006 as a duo but since there’s only one member, the project goes more and more experimental and there will be more contributions by other musicians. 2 new songs have been released this month (March 2008) to show what this band will be about.
