EMPERY (Updated Layout)

Empery is a 5 piece band that is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The band formed December 2007/January 2008 by founding members Paul Lopes(Guitar) and Rowen Bhadersein (drums), following the creation of Empery, Shaun Norton (Guitar) then joined the band, followed by Ryan Norton (Bass) and Edwin De Kok (Vocals). Empery is a Progressive Thrash Metal band, and with influences such as Metallica, Lamb of God, Slayer, Children of Bodom and Wintersun, Empery produce fast paced, melodic, head banging metal.
Throughout the years South Africa has witnessed various phases of "in-style" music, but Empery have gone back to the roots and will always stick to the TRUE METAL style. Empery aims to bring real Metal back to life and remind people where it all began. They aim to provide every Metal fan with quality music and a cause worthy of supporting.
Empery have to date recorded two demo's and have recently completed a music video for the single "Beyond Human", the band will be working on their first album and will be gigging around Jo'burg and hopefully the rest of South Africa, and the world.
