Kellis

Kellis grew up in Needles California during the 80's and 90's. He remembers when La Bamba hit the bigscreen. All the Indian kids in the back of the bus sang it, when the bus driver put it on the radio. Kellis always wanted to be a Rock Star, ever since he first saw an Mtv video by Dire Straits called "Money for Nothing." Kellis was a semi finalist in the San Diego Magazine Song Competition 2008. He won an opportunity to sing in front of others at the San Diego Magazine "Best of San Diego" Party. (Then he made a technical error and didnt get to!) ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ............The September 2006 issue of the San Diego Troubador writes: kellis is "not easily engaged by garden variety small talk," which means his songs "elicit in the listener the depth of real emotion," as a "rare emotive power" with a "dry humor and wise sense of resignation."
