Daniel Tochtermann

A deep understanding and love for music is always the driving energy and motivation for Daniel Tochtermann, regardless of whether he’s working as a musician, composer or singer.He began as a pop/rock guitar player in a Reggea/Calypso Band; that introduced him early on to World Music. In order to combine the musician’s talent with the foundation of knowledge, he studied at the FRANKFURTER MUSIKWERKSTATT (School for Jazz and Popular music).Many of his compositions were conceived in Brazil, some of them while working with Grammy Award winner Ivan Lins, who contributed his vocals to one of Daniel’s songs. Today he works as an acoustic and electric guitar player in many different projects. In 2007 he was a member of the live band from POPSTARS ON STAGE, a famous German TV casting show (Pro7).
